How to: Easy Unlock and Activate your Iphone (FW 1.0.2)

How To:

Unlock your Apple Iphone (VERSION 1.0.2 ONLY), The Really Really Easy way! I did it in less then 15 Minutes.

Please Note, Before you Start: you should be aware that this is potentially dangerous to your iPhone. I have Tested it, and it Does work! Do this at your own Risk.

Please Follow EVERY step 100%!

Basically You Only Need Two (thats right) Two, Really Easy applications to run from your Computer. (This is the PC version of the unlock, sorry Mac users)

You can DIRECTLY download all the Applications you need HERE:

Then DOWNLOAD:

Save this file in:
C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates

Step 1
Make Sure you have an Itunes that is BELOW 7.4!
You can download Itunes 7.3.2 HERE

Step 2
Plug in your Iphone and Quit Itunes when it pops up - Also Click ALT+CONTROL+DELETE and end the application 'ItunesHelper.exe'.

Step 3
Go into the Ibrickr Folder in the file provided above, Double Click on Ibrickr.exe.

Step 4
Click The Free My Iphone Button: A message about Jailbreaking will appear

Jailbreaking: Is the process of modifying the iphone to allow the user to write applications and files to the hard drive!

Step 5
Ibrickr will state:

Restart your Iphone in RESTORE mode.
To do this simply power off your phone (hold the Sleep Button and slide the red slider).
Then Power on your Phone, but this time, Hold both the Sleep Wake button AND the Home button for 45 seconds.

You will see this:

Your computer will recognize the restore mode Iphone.
Itunes will pop up saying it needs to restore the phone. Don't Click anything, just ignore it completely.

Once the Jailbreak is done

, Its time to Activate!

Step 6
Goto the PACAY > Point And click... folder in the zip file.
There run '(CLICK HERE) activate.bat'

Read the Instructions as you go along.
Once you have finished Activating the Phone,
The Program will prompt you to restart your iphone. Do So. Once your on your Springboard (Notic no more activation screen!) Click enter in the program and it will activate Youtube in no more then a few seconds!

Step 7
Jump back into Ibrickr.
Click the Hyperlink "APPLICATIONS"

You will need to install the PXL deamond to quickly install applications using PXLs.
There are literally HUNDREDS of add ons to choose from!

Click 'install PXL'

Once it is installed, it will tell you to Continue, Then restart your phone. Do so and once it has booted up, click "Check PXL"

Once that is done and working continue:

Step 8

Click BROWSE Applications

Click "Anysim 1.0.2"

The Program will download the software and install it straight to your iphone!

Step 9
Your iphone will have a little "Loading" image in the middle of it. Thats normal.

Once it is done installing, your phone will soft restart and the springboard will open with Anysim in the lower left corner. Don't open it yet!

Go into:
Settings > General > Auto Unlock > Check NEVER.

Step 10
Keep the AT&T Sim card in the phone.

Click on Anysim and slide to unlock. Scroll down and click the big red button ONCE (it will freeze when you press it...just be patient).

This will take around 3-7 minutes. You'll see a lot of activity on the phones screen, thats normal.

It'll Pop Up with "UNLOCK SUCCESSFUL" and your DONE!

Now go to the Top of your iPhone. Use a PIN or paper clip to Open the Sim tray (Push it into the tiny hole next to the headphone jack, you will need a bit of force until it pops open), take the AT&T sim card out and Put ANY sim card into your iPhone!

Restart your Iphone.
The Iphone should now say your phone provider in the top left hand corner of the screen.
If it does not. Make an Outgoing call, and make an Incoming Call also.

CONGRATULATIONS you've Unlocked your first iphone!! Grin

Why do i need to downgrade my itunes:
There has been a number of issues that cause your Iphone to continuously reboot when you try and jailbreak with itunes 7.4+

My Iphone is Showing the Logo, Closing and Looping all over again:
Your in a Continuous reboot loop. Or Endless Reboot, To fix it Visit download:

Connect your iphone
Open winStallerGUI.exe
Click "Return to Jail". That should do the trick.
If it doesnt, Click 'Return to Jail', 'Deactivate' and then put your iphone into Recovery mode. Hold shift and Restore in Itunes and select the
iPhone1,1_1.0.2_1C28_Restore.ipsw save on your computer. If you dont have it Click here

AnySim finished unlocking but it said "Failed Unlock":
Dont let that fool you, your phone should be unlocked. Thats just a bug in the application.
Try your Sim card and make an Outgoing call.
